Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your access to the Lockora Audit website and your use of the Lockora Audit WordPress security audit plugin.

Agreement

By accessing the website or using the Lockora Audit plugin, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you use Lockora Audit on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

The Lockora Audit service

Lockora Audit is a WordPress security audit plugin that helps identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, outdated dependencies, malware indicators, and remediation options. Audit results are informational and should be reviewed by a qualified site owner, developer, administrator, or security professional before changes are applied.

Your responsibilities

  • Use Lockora Audit only on WordPress sites you own or are authorized to administer.
  • Maintain current backups before applying fixes or changing production systems.
  • Review audit findings before relying on them for security, compliance, or operational decisions.
  • Keep WordPress core, plugins, themes, server software, and credentials appropriately maintained.
  • Do not use Lockora Audit to attack, overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any system.

AI-assisted findings

Lockora Audit may use AI-assisted analysis to explain findings, prioritize risk, and suggest remediation steps. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect, especially when site context is missing. You are responsible for validating fixes before applying them to production WordPress sites.

One-click fixes and remediation

Some findings may include suggested or automated remediation. You are responsible for confirming that a fix is appropriate for your website, hosting environment, theme, plugins, and business requirements. You should test significant changes where practical and maintain rollback options.

Accounts, plans, and availability

Some features may require an account, license, subscription, or paid plan. Feature availability, limits, pricing, and beta functionality may change over time. We may suspend or limit access to protect the service, prevent abuse, comply with law, or address security risks.

Intellectual property

The website, branding, documentation, plugin interface, audit report design, and related materials are owned by Lockora Audit or its licensors. These terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights except the limited right to use the service as permitted.

Security disclosure

If you discover a vulnerability in Lockora Audit, email security@lockora-audit.com. Do not publicly disclose a vulnerability before we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate it.

Disclaimers

Lockora Audit is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that every vulnerability will be found, that every finding is accurate, or that any remediation will be suitable for every WordPress environment. No security tool can guarantee that a site is secure.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lockora Audit will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or security incidents arising from your use of the website or plugin.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when the latest version took effect. Continued use of the website or plugin after changes means you accept the updated terms.
